Irish actor Chris O'Dowd supports male cancer awareness

Mon, Apr 23rd 2012, 15:07

We are delighted to announce our new charity ambassador, Ireland’s very own – and Hollywood’s latest star – Chris O'Dowd. Chris is best known in the UK for Channel 4 hit comedy series ‘The IT crowd’ and the UK blockbuster film Gulliver’s Travels, but his role in the US box office smash ‘Bridesmaids’ really showcased Ireland’s brightest star. Chris has agreed to support Male Cancer Awareness Campaign and to play the part of ‘Lars’ – our newest charity champion – raising awareness and reducing embarrassment of male breast cancer. The project is in collaboration with the amazing female breast cancer charity CoppaFeel, with who we’re very much in love! This exciting project will help highlight that men can get breast cancer too!
